We are the crazy youth: the artists in Honors and Portfolio. The group separated by class periods, some of us hardly leaving the art room (sean). We are the kids who stay up late and work on sketchbooks, the ones who wear the crazy clothes, and get paint out of our “nice” clothes, with scissors. We look at the world with different eyes. Some of us use art as an outlet. Some of us can’t survive with out it. Some of us… this is our best class.

No matter what background or if were a foreign exchange student, we can speak art. It can draw each class period together, and we learn from our techniques shared in this one room. We are also the student athletes. The Honor roll students. The Nattional Honor society students- who are artists. We artists have a lot on our plate: a lot to balance, but somehow we get through it.

We are the hopefuls. The would-be’s. The procrastinators. We burn babies, and make veins glow in the dark. We make humongous shoes and dresses made of soda tabs. Our aesthetic is that we are one. We are united by our uncharacteristic ability to stand out. We’re pretty much boss.
